Alfio Torrisi is a physicist with expertise in Laser-matter interaction, Material Sciences and Microscopy.
He has got the European Research Doctorate “Erasmus Mundus” (Ph.D.) in Optoelectronics at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw (Poland), developing novel microscopy systems based on gaseous sources for nano-imaging applications.
Currently he is a Research Fellow at the Department of Physics of University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, mainly working on Correlation Plenoptic Microscopy.
