Degree in Physics, 1999, at UniBA. PhD in Physics, 2004, from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Since 2020 Associate Professor at the Physics Dept. of UniBA.
She leads the Quantum Optical Technologies Lab recently setup through national competitive projects, thus bringing experimental activity within the quantum group existing at at the Physics Dept. of UniBA and INFN since the ‘80s.
She is one of the leading researchers in the field of quantum imaging, having implemented ground breaking proof-of-principle experiments such as quantum optical lithography, ghost imaging with chaotic light, and correlation plenoptic imaging (5 patent applications).
She has published more than 55 papers, with over 1700 citations.
